Are you blind to their faults? Sometimes our starry-eyed affection for our partner, can make us oblivious to warning signals. We all have faults, but some faults are not healthy for you or your relationship.

Jealousy and possessiveness. Its perfectly normal for your partner to be protective. However if they're unnecessarily over-protective, it's scary. Are they constantly asking where you are? Do they persist on knowing why you were talking to another person? Jealousy can be a dangerous attribute in a relationship, and if it is too overbearing and your partner refuses to change-it may be best to move on.

Double Standards. Does your partner apply one standard to their own behavior and a different one to yours? This kind of behaviour is inexcusable and you need to be respected. Are you constantly placed in can't-win situations? If you feel like no matter what you do, you are at fault, you may be a victim of a manipulative or controlling relationship

Don't let pride ruin your relationship!

27 February 2014

Do you have someone in your life who you love, or want to love, but their pride is getting in the way? Pride is to blame for most heartbreaks; so how is it possible for you to form a meaningful and functional relationship with a proud person?

Be non-invasive. Proud people put up their own barriers to shield themselves from vulnerability. If the person has already proven to be unresponsive to your efforts to help, it may be best to accept his or her refusal for now.

Observe. Although it is best not to be too invasive, its important to recognise the individuals triggers. Through experience you will be able to
recognize when tension may arise and then find a quick way defuse it.

**Find the common ground." Try your best to get to know the individual and find something you have in common. As you share and develop these common interests, they will slowly start to lower their barriers.

Be patient. Another person's stubbornness and pride does not excuse you to behave in the same way. Be patient, and sometimes it is best to concede a point in order to move on. If your point is the better of the two, this will ultimately become clear one way or another, even if you have to wait a while.

Don't let them get you down!. If your proud person fails to recognize your efforts, don't let it get you down! More often than not the individual is probably grateful; it' just they are unable to express it in a way you that you would expect or understand.

Working, living, loving or simply associating with a prideful individual can be difficult but not unbearable; but if you feel like you need more advice, our psychic readers can provide the help you need through a personal and accurate psychic reading.

Are you a Pushover?

26 February 2014

Are you 'pushover'? Do you struggle to say 'No' to people- even when you strongly disagree with them? If you feel like you are a pushover, and want to start standing up for yourself more-then we have a few tips that we believe can help you become a more assertive, strong, confident individual that you know you are.

Take a look at yourself: Examine how, and in what situations you tend to back down. As you open your mind and see how and where you back down, it will become clearer and easier to you exactly how you can improve

You are just as important as everybody else: It's vital for you to recognise how valuable you are- and that you are entitled to the same level of respect and politeness as everyone around you. Your values and opinions are important-you are important- value yourself and others will begin to value you.

Be confident in mind and body: The way you present yourself to those around you is very important. Your body language can speak volumes of how you view yourself. Get in the habit of standing up straight with your shoulders back and relax your arms- this will send a distinct message of openness and confidence to everyone. Don't underestimate the power of eye contact and smiling can go a very long way.

Be assertive: This is alot easier than you think. You can start with something simple like deciding what your going to have for lunch; let people know what you think why. Its essential that you try your best to get out of the habit of saying 'I don't mind' and making others make decisions for you.

Confidence can take time to inherit, but it is possible. The sooner you recognise how amazing you are the better. Don't let others put you down.

25 February 2014

Being in love is amazing. Relationships are fun, exhilarating and exciting; for many of us however, these feelings can slowly evaporate over time. Before you do anything too drastic, here are three quick strategies to increase your satisfaction in love.

Communicate

Most of us fall into the destructive pattern of assuming that our partners can read our minds. we have the bad habit of expecting our partners to read our minds. If you Contrary to what you think, your partner can't often read your signs or subliminal messages. You need to vocalise yourself clearly and at a good time. This isn't a time to argue but to communicate.

Change Your Expectations

Not everyone expresses love in the same way. Just because you are affectionate and express your love through touch, that doesn't mean that is how your partner should express themselves. While it is important to ask for what you need, it's also worthwhile to consider how your partner handles things. You will see that, as you gradually learn to accept your differences, your relationship will strengthen and reach levels you never expected.

Learn to Listen

Hearing is very different to listening. To listen effectively you need to act. Make an effort to pay attention to the what your partner has to say. Learn to read their signals and help them learn about yours. As you effectively learn how to interpret each others signs and emotions, you’ll open yourselves up to a new level of trust, happiness and enjoyment in your relationship.

Learn to Trust Again

23 February 2014

All of us will experience trials or hardships during our time here on earth-it's part of life! When we have been hurt-especially by those closest to us -it can make it very difficult for us to love and trust again. While you can’t always erase the experiences you’ve had in life, you can learn and grow from them.

So how can you trust again?

The foundation of the healing process comprises of 2 stages of forgiveness; forgiving the person who has wronged you, and forgiving yourself. This may include a frank look at the actions that lead to you being hurt, because there is surely something there to learn.

As soon as you are able to let go of the past wrongdoing you will be able to rebuild your trust.

A good place to start is with those closest to you. Allow them to help you overcome the challenges you may be facing. They may be able to help you see what happened in a different frame of mind.

Even if you’re not looking for feedback, you may want to ask friends to spend time with you doing fun things, or comforting things. You don’t need to weather your pain alone.

As hard as it is to recognise at the moment, Love is the path to your healing. See the light and good in everyone, and really try to look for opportunities to love again.

Trust can take a long time to rebuild. Be patient with yourself and realise that it is only as you effectively rebuild your trust that you can be truly happy in this life and build a path toward a brighter future.
